Eight years ago, I started sending a weekly newsletter with the latest news in the world of digital politics to a few friends and colleagues. That grew to become Learn Test Optimize which is enjoyed by thousands of readers around the world.
A few years later, I decided to start writing articles to help campaigners run more effective online campaigns with actionable tips and strategies. We called that Best Practice Digital.
Then, I decided I wanted to do a podcast that gave a platform to political professionals doing interesting work to modernize our industry. That’s the Business of Politics Show.
In recent years, I’ve found myself with the enviable challenge of three different loyal audiences that aren’t aware of the other content I’m creating. It’s also incredibly difficult to effectively promote three different brands to ensure the high-quality content being produced is getting the attention it deserves.
Today, we’re launching Campaign Trend to bring all of this content under one umbrella. For now, the only thing changing about Learn Test Optimize, Best Practice Digital, and The Business of Politics Show are their names. They’re now called Campaign Trend Rundown, Best Practices, and Podcast, respectively. There’s no need to resubscribe or signup, we’ve migrated all of that for you.
This move also streamlines much of the work and costs of maintaining three different websites, email systems, and social media. Now I’ll be able to focus more intently on creating better content and securing the resources to help the platform grow.
